HH told PP abt it this afternoon.. As HH is working tomorrow and PP has appointment in the late morning, we can't go together.. PP can hear the disappointment in HH's voice over the phone..

She tried to rescheduled her appointment but was not possible so she went online & found out that actually Crocs sales started today!! So after work, PP scooted off to Expo Hall 5.. Not much crowd yet.. PP searched high & low for the model HH is eyeing.. But to no avail.. Eventually, she did found it but it was an old model.. Buay sui!!

Found HH slippers instead.. A brand called Ocean-minded under Crocs.. Between 6-7pm, there was this 1hr sale, 2 pairs of flipflops for $30!! PP jumped at the offer and helped Cow & wifey get a pair each too!! Woo hoo!!

Then went to queue up for payments.. Wah!! PP queued for 45mins to pay.. Phew!! By the time she left hall 5, she was very thirsty & she went got a regular sized Orange Julius orange as a reward for "surviving" the Crocs sale alone..

Till the next one comes again... 😊

Came across this pretty girl, Evonne. And on her blog, she came up with a wedding FAQ..

Her wedding was on 21 May 2011 & she jotted down some ideas + requisites and her hubby-to-be transformed it into… this! I editted abit la.. hehe!!

The wedding FAQ

What should I wear?
* Nothing white, this is very important, a very ugly replacement wardrobe will be prepared for people who wear white, and those who cannot read properly will be given ah pek glasses.

How much should I give for the ang pow?
* As much as your friendship/kinship is worth. The going rate of buying someone… off is about SGD $168 EACH. (for my case, S$108 should be enough. =D )
Paypal is accepted, please add in 3% handling fees to maggiepoy@hotmail.com.

Can I give you presents instead of angpows?
* No. Unless it is an additional USEFUL gift ON TOP of the angpow. We are the poor newly-weds.

I got your invitation, but I cannot make it, and I still want to give you guys an angpow cos I’m like so close.
* Your donations are well appreciated. We accept paypal (maggiepoy@hotmail.com) and iBanking (POSB Savings 189-30689-0)

If I cannot make it, after receiving the invitation, what should I do?
* Please notify us AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, it MAY save us a trip to Bangkok.

Can I perform instead of giving an angpow?
* If you have performed in front of more than 300 people, yes, you are welcomed. Or, if you are practising really hard just for the wedding, it would be great. In fact, we will contra your angpow and give YOU an angpow, you know how generous we are, sure earn one. Just do it.

Is it acceptable to cry at your wedding?
* Yes, but please, only happy crying.

Can I give a speech?
* Yes, speeches are welcome. Please confirm your attendance as soon as possible in order to avoid disappointment. Also, if your idea of a speech is to be impromptu, please prepare a larger angpow in advanced, so at least if your speech is not say fantastic, the other speakers will keep their mouth shut since you paid a premium.

Can I bring my partner(s)?
* Just bring, and let us know so we can arrangement the tables.

I’m very single, is there a possibility of meeting new people at your wedding?
* Yes, very much. Anyone who is NOT wearing a ring, you can go ahead and be friends.

Start with the classic lines (See insert A) and follow up with a “so how do you know Harald/Maggie?” and carry on asking his/her name. It is VERY important that you do a proper introduction, AND ask about “Harald” instead of “Maggie”, because there’s so much more to talk about Harald rather than Maggie. Plus if you are a guy, you will appear to look as reliable / good looking / cute as Harald, and if you are a girl, well, everyone knows Harald hangs out with cute/fun/friendly girls (like Maggie. Will there be shark’s fin for your wedding dinner? Can I not eat it?
* Hello, we are chinese, chinese eat shark’s fins for wedding dinner. Will an angmoh stop eating big macs now that they figured that cows contribute the most to global warming? No. If you’re not going to eat your shark’s fin, please give it to the person next to you (or the BRIDE), it’s a lost cause, don’t let the poor shark die for nothing.

What should I do if the food served is not of acceptable hygiene standards?
* Screw the server, scold them until they get it right, talk to the chef, etc etc, it’s only Singaporean to do so since you are also paying for the dinner.

Should we expect an ang pow from you for the coming CNY?
* Whahahahahahahaha!!

The special thingy abt Aug is....... HH & PP going for Suede concert on 3rd Aug!!!!!
it was meant to be a surprise for HH.. Guess PP was too naggy.. cos she kept reminding him to take leave. HH is so smart.. whahaha!!

9th Aug - Singapore's birthday..
some day in Aug - A ride-up to Malacca..
13th Aug - The Lion King musical..
20th Aug - the day we "officially" go steady.. hehe!!
21st Aug - PP's Graduation!!!!!!!! Finally!!!!!! =D

Food tasting this month too.. Date TBC (to b confirm)..
Wah!! looks like a bz bz mth..

Also wanna lose more weight before that BIG day.. Pls pray that I can control myself from snacking & potato-ing.. =)

- Accident on 1 Jun 2011 - have since recover & still riding.. hehe!!
- Trying very hard to lose weight - but still eating.. haiz...
- Bonded to her current employer till Feb 2012 - anyone wanna employ her after that?
- Her new flat coming only in the 4th qtr 2011

Although Alex & Gordon were there early, they were not allowed to go in to "chop" seats.. by the time the rest of us reached there, the place was filled.. so we queued..... Q & Q & Q.. from 6plus till 7plus.. hungrrrrryyyyy!!

we were seated separately.. 3 tables.. hehe!! Though apart but we had fun cooking on the grill & most importantly, enjoyed each other's company.. =D

The staff there changed the aluminium foil quite regularly & the grill plate was purposefully tilted to one side, with a steel bowl at the lower end.. why? so that the excess oils/fats/juices from the meat we cook will flow out of the grill plate. so thoughful!!

we eat till we gonna explode. oh ya, pls take only wat you wanna eat or can finish.. they are very strict with the food wastage.. the guys with us couldn't finish wat they took.. but bo bian.. they got to try really hard to stuff everything down their throat before leaving the place.. we ladies waited downstairs for abt 30mins before they came down.. hehe!!

PP has been going gym at least twice a week for a mth now.. weight didn't drop much though.. =(

PP's loyal straw bag gave way.. =,( Now PP got no bag for gym. She's using plastic bag instead.. whahahahaha!!

PP decided to start using this perfume. it was from a friend, William Kwek, for her 21st birthday.. whahahahaha!! PP kept this for 8yrs?! Good brand cos it still smells.. smells nice of cos!! whahahahaha!! the plastic thingy is yellowish already lor..

Gucci Rush was in red opaque plastic; Rush 2 is in pink transparent plastic but because of the plastic thingy which turned yellow after 8yrs, it looked like it was red.. whahahahaha!!

PP went ECP for cycling with Shushu, Jess, AL & V. we met at AMK central for lunch before moving off.. but it rained during lunch.. =(

Thank God, it rained for a while only. So we quickly went over to ECP.. =D

Initially PP wanted to rollerblade.. forget it.. she rusty till dunno wat.. so she switched to cycling.. hehe!! we cycled to Bedok Jetty.

PP only got the ladies. Guys? Nehmind them lor.. hehe!! That's PP!! so fat!!!!!!! =((

We stopped when the rain came.. We went nom nom.. hehe!!

After rain stopped, we hurried cycled back to return the bicycles.. It's so much cheaper to cycle at ECP nowadays.. it cost us $6 each for 2hrs bicycle rental. PP remembered, it used to cost about $6 per hour of bicycle rental. Time past, trends moved, prices for some stuff soared while prices of some stuff dropped..

yes, cycle so little eat so much.. whahahaha!! we decided to meet up for dinner at Chomp Chomp after going home to wash up.. hehe!!

PP waited for HH to knock off then together went Chomp Chomp to meet the rest.. We also went for desserts at our favourite store.. hehe!! Durian moouse at Dessert Bowl has been a hot favourite among PP's collys.. hehe!! HH doesn't like durian so he always choose something else.. to "match" HH, PP didn't order durian also. PP usually order some dessert with mango & vanilla ice-cream. Tat's the only mango dessert PP eats.. hehe!!

Heard the news over radio that tsunami & earthquake hit Japan. Initial tots: natural disasters have been happening so frequently nowadays.. what is going to happen next?

It wasn't long before PP realised something.. Juu Huang is in Japan with her friend!!!!!!!!!!!! Panic panic!!! Whatsapp Suu cos she is in Melbourne this week.. We were shocked. Nothing much Suu can do.. PP whatsapp Juu Huang, msg Juu Huang, call Juu Huang... without thinking if she gonna incur any roaming charges on her handphone.. Muu Clan members are more impt than the $$ incurred!!

Mission: Locate & hear Juu Huang!
Looking at the dial list below, obviously PP couldn't get to Juu Huang.. It's so scary.. Suu overseas, Juu in Japan... Oh! still got Zuu.. PP (aka Puu) msged Zuu.. Zuu also msging & calling Juu.. to no avail.. calls went like "the person you are contacting is currently unavailable, pls call back later" (local) or "dunno-what-service is disrupted..... ...... call again.... followed by the cantonese version" (appeared overseas). PP got thru to a call in Japanese also.. but who the hell knows what the Japanese lady was talking abt.. Thinking back, PP was dumb.. PP actually finish listening to the Jap lady.. Oppies!!

PP kept calling Juu since 4plus in the afternoon..
PP was gonna meet B-mum for dinner.. while waiting for B-mum, PP was calling Juu rentlessly also.. Till PP received a sms from Juu telling PP that she is safe but stranded at Odawara Station, 1.5hrs away from Tokyo. Trains are not moving so Juu is stuck at the evacuation centre. She asked PP to call her mum to report her safety.. PP did just tat. Thank God Juu & friend are safe & sound.. PP kan cheong-ly called Juu home & talked to her dad instead.

Timing was just right. After calling Juu home, B-mum arrived. We had dinner at Grandma's at United Square.

B-mum had hokkien noodles & bur bur cha cha while PP had Ipoh Kway Teoh Soup & Cendol.

When PP go home, she checked iChangi app for Suu's return flight details & saw this (left of picture below). The next morning, while on fb, PP saw Juu Huang's update (right of the picture below). "chatted" thru fb with Juu.. Juu is using the internet in the hotel lobby. WIFI is out for the time being..

Juu managed to take a flight back on Sat at 9pm(Jap), 8pm(SG).. =)

09 Mar 2011 - Change color..
PP decided to change her nail color after her purple one started to chip. PP painted miss K's nails green the other day & fell in love with the color.. so she tried on her nails.. Nice right?

Matching nail color with the top PP wore.. hehe!!

10 Mar 2011 - Lunch Out! BK burger for a dollar!!
went out for lunch today.. abit sian of "cooking" in the office..

Collys & PP wanted to get the $1 BK burger but the queues were very very long. So we settled lunch at SeoulYummy.

PP had ginseng chicken soup with brown rice. Yes, PP not supposed to have carbo.. abit won't kill right? Moreover, it's the healthier choice of brown rice. =P

PP has been reading abt kabuki brushes online.. And searching for the product.. PP came this webby Magical Tannsu. PP came across a kabuki brush by INKA.

According to Magical Tannsu, it's awesome for everything. Mineral foundation is what it's made for. However, they've also tried it with

It's not sold in SG but it was featured in Michelle Phan's, MakeUpGeek's n AllThatGlitter's make up videos.. These are the youtube videos which PP watches to learn her make up. Another person in youtube whom PP loves to watch is BeautyQQ. She is based in Hong Kong, her skin is so flawless!! She doesn't look a day after 30 lor!! 7mths old jeans

PP mia v long hor?? Hehe!! PP got iPhone n neglected her macbook n blog.. Opps.. Hehe!!

She's trying to blog now using her iPhone. Wah!!

Anyway, wanna blog abt the jeans PP wore today..

It wasn't washed since Aug 2010.. Whahahaha!!

It's a pair of Levi's straight cut jeans which tore at the right knee area.. It was caused by the fall off PP's bike in Malaysia.. So Levi's jeans is tat steady after all.. PP's conclusion.. Good thing she don't own as many Levi's as HH.. Hehe!! Come to think of it, it has been 2 yrs since PP fell.. But the scar still v "3D" wor.. Nehmind la.. Wedding gowns long enough to cover PP's legs.. Hohoho!!

Back to the jeans PP was talking abt... PP "paused" her 2A lessons last Jul cos she was on duty for SYOG in Aug. So that pair of jeans was hung in her room's toilet since then.. Wah! 1st time no wash jeans for so long.. Without mum nagging.. Anyway, PP wore this jeans for bike revision today.. Sian-ed... Raining before revision started. PP wore raincoat top for revision, on case rain ma.. She scared rain. Hiya.. The rain stopped if u wanna know.. ={

The knee pads were gross lor!! The rain before tat drenched most of them.. PP's jeans adsorbed the liquid from those knee pads.. Kaoz... The area around her knees were wet n her jeans were yellow-y lor!!!!!!!! So gross!!! All these mths of hanging there is so much better than kena the watever from the wet knee pads lor!! ={{

Sick sick sick..

PP was "hanging by a thread" on 1st day of work (3rd Jan).. went to see doc after work.. Fever, flu, sore throat, ear infection... doc wanna give PP 2 days mc but PP took 1 only cos she claimed off-in-lieu for Wed & Thu..

PP slept almost the whole Tue (4 Jan).. waking up only to eat her meals & medications.. haiz.. guess wat? gastric pains hit her hard around 9plus.. PP almost vomitted like a merlion.. =S

BiL K got to rush her to TTSH around 10pm.. HH accompanied me as he was not working.. Doc gave PP 2 injections, 1 on left arm, the other on right arm.. aft injections were given, PP was to given them urine for testing.. could hardly walk.. still went toilet & give them anyway..

slept slept slept... Mum, Lingz & BiL K went home 1st cos only 1 person can accompany PP.. HH went back with them to get his bike so that later he can fetch PP home.. PP went a&e on 23rd Dec 2010 also.. within the span of 2 weeks, PP "peepo peepo" twice.. wat is happening??

slept till 1plus am (5th Jan), another doc came to see PP.. no pain then PP was allowed to go home.. went home to rest.. doc gave mc.. also an appt with the specialist on 6th Jan. haiz.. wanna go gai-gai on day off but.....

went doc on 6th Jan while HH dekit at AMK Police HQ. Endoscopy appt made.. on 28 Jan 2011 (Fri)..

Ling has been flying here & there these 2 weeks.. Last week was to Vietnam & this week was to Taipei.. Vietnam was as usual, coffee powder.. hehe!! nice wor! this time Ling bought PP something special.. no photos yet though.. Hmm...... shall keep it a secret.. something PP loves to have but in smaller form.. hehe!!

Tonight, no diff, BiL picked mum & PP up to got to the airport to "catch" Ling.. hehe!! throughout her business trips, PP & Ling always exchange SMSes.. =) Or emails if there is free wifi.. TW dun have.. #$%&&&^$! have also not good la.. whahaha!!

PP can no need anything from TW, juz 太阳饼 will do.. =D See, PP went kuku already..

Hi-Chew in TW is very cheap.. abt 40cents per row/column/strip... you got what PP trying to say?? not only buying a few rows/columns/strips, Ling bought all the favours she can find and in packets!!!!! whahahahahahaha!!!!!! too bad, PP dun really eat sweets.. o.0
after emptying Ling's luggage, actually Ling's laundry is juz this bag.. Opps!! so the rest is......
Ending off... a happy-to-have-her-lil-sis-back PP happily having her 太阳饼 though not supposed to eat cos it's almost 12 midnight... hehe!! cannot tahan.. BiL also.. yeah!!!!!!!!

Ling treated our family to COCA with her in-laws.. =)
it has been quite a while since we were there.. Ling managed to book a room for us.. one big round table with 3 steamboats.. yum yum!! HH & PP went to finalise our hotel so we were late.. nonetheless, we ate till we can't move.. whahahaha!!

We got free fruits today in our office pantry.. loads of bananas.. some of PP's colleagues dun like so PP took 3.. hehe!!

3) it not the usual normal spaghetti dress - it looks like a spaghetti dress from the front but behind, the straps actually starts from the central & not the side.. nehmind if you dun understand.. when you see PP in it, you'll know.. keke!!

Mo-mo is green cos it has Chlorophyll and this Chlorophyll will get energy from the sun for Mo-mo to photosynthesize.. When Mo-mo is photosynthesizing, it'll produce oxygen.. that's how the bubbles come about..

Went over to HH's place after we touched dowm... his place is nearer to the airport.. after that his BiL sent PP home.. but PP waited very long..

was playing with Princess C.. MiL was telling PP that the night before, none of them at home can get Princess C to try the polka dots jacket tat SiL bought for her.. So PP say let her try... hehe!! Princess C tried the jacket on without much resistance.. see?? even let PP take pictures.. ; )

PP bathed Princess C.. MiL let her wear the Elmo romper HH & I bought.. See? 2 Elmos!! hehe!! so cute right?? PP asked SiL to keep the romper after Princess outgrew it.. PP wanna keep it for her child.. whahaha!! still a long way...

AL bought PP a pair of Elmo earrings & an Elmo bracelet.. the earrings very cute hor?? hehe!! PP put it on immediately.. hehe!! the bracelet is the same mum bought for PP when she was in Aussie.. BiL & Ling went to Comex yesterday (4 Sep)... bought stuff for their home.. today they "brought" mum & PP along.. PP was reluctant but she knows she got to move her ass.. so she better get moving around... not running but at least moving.. not nua(bump) at home staring at her macbook.. hehe!! ever since PP got her macbook at the beginning of the yr (she thinks).. she's loving it.. next Apple item?? iPhone 4??? still thinking.. PP prefers Samsung Galaxy S leh.. bigger screen.. see how la..

Mum & Ling outside hall 601 waiting for PP & BiL.. PP & BiL went back in to help HH get the media player.. it's on pre-order though.. PP only know of clothes pre-order.. didn't know tat tech stuff can be pre-ordered too.. sua-ku!! (mountain turtle)
PP, as irritating as usual... took over BiL's iPhone whenever she got the chance & play the "no brainer" game (BiL named it).. the next few pictures will tell you why...
See the scores?? PP is getting more & more coins!!! whahahaha!! not as if she really get those coins.. but..... whahaha!! so fun... sometimes HH & PP will loiter in the arcade before going for their movies.. we'll see adults or children playing similar games like this.. they are using $$ to exchange for tokens then insert to the machine, try to scoop more items throw them on the moving beam & hope that the moving beam will push more sweets/biscuits/toys down...
PP plays with Coin Dozer or Cookie Dozer.. no need to use $$ to exchange for tokens.. if really finish all the coins or cookies, play next time lor.. PP dun feel the pain in her pocket.. =)

PP understands.... BiL must be very irritated.. his silly SiL wasting his iPhone batt on "no-brainer" game.. hehe!! Xie Xie Ni, BiL!!!!! PP has stopped playing when she achieved 800 over coins.. hehe!!
Today at Comex, PP bought a media player while BiL bought a printer.. =)

22 Aug 2010 - one of the privileges during shift work..
Of cos got eat got work la.. sometimes we get treats from the bosses.. the other time was Lychee Martini cake & other chocolate cakes from the Pines. Also got Gong-Cha.. PP juz drank the tea & threw away the pearls.. the pearls are qq like Koi ones but it's carbo so PP avoided them.. Quick praise PP.. hehe!! but ice cream.. hehe!! PP ate.. MAGNUM leh.. this cost equivalent to a meal leh..

Whahaha!! HH & PP have been together for 6 yrs.. wah!! so long..

Thank God that it's PP's off day on 20th.. HH & PP decided to go to Sushi Tei at Thomson Plaza..

Clockwise from left: Salmon skin, some prawn sushi (oishii!!), Hotate Teriyaki, Gindara Kama Saikyoyaki (Grilled cod fish's cheek with Saikyo Miso - oishii!!)

Asama (3 kinds) - Salmon, Tuna & Yellow-tail.. HH only likes the salmon, so PP ate most of the sashimi.. hehe!!

HH's main course: Unatama Don (Premium Eel Topped with Egg on Rice)

PP's main course: Katsen Kaminabe (mix seafood paper hot pot) seafood: prawn, scallop, zuwai crab & salmon)

Phoenix roll (unagi, avocado, king prawn sushi roll) oishii!!

Our area at the counter.. abit overwhelming for 2 persons right?? hehe!!

Remember the prawn sushi thingy in the 1st food pic?? it's $6.50 per plate.. HH & PP didn't know & had 2 plates of it.. hehe!! it's oishii so it's $$ well-spent.. =D

Guess how much is our bill? it came up to over $110 for 2 persons.. whahaha!! 1st time we had such "high" japanese food.. =) yummy yum yum!! HH paid for it.. *phew*

after dinner, we went to NTUC.. PP left something wrong with her eyes when we were walking to our bike.. Alamak.. when PP looked into the mirror, she found both her eyes bloodshot & swollen.. =S Yucks!!!!!!!

PP got her mum, Ling & HH to check her eyes but they found nothing.. =(
PP went to the mirror to check.. she managed to remove quite abit of "eye shit".. Mum let PP apply eyedrops but it didn't really help..

On mum's advise, HH brought PP to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) A&E.. it's a new hospital near Yishun MRT station.. since it's new, the queue isn't as long as TTSH.. It took less than 30mins for dr to attend to PP.. It was suspected to be the seafood PP ate earlier on.. alamak la.. PP hasn't ate seafood for quite some time as she's on diet for Ling's wedding.. haiz...

Guess PP over-ate seafood when she was given the chance.. & ended up with swollen eyes.. obviously, PP isn't getting any younger.. her body is not as "fit" as last time.. she wan't fit to start with.. hehe!!
HH stayed by PP all this while.. we were "mesmerising" the times HH got to get PP to hospital throughout these 6 yrs we're together.. PP "warned" HH that more to come.. hehe!!
PP's label... Mee-c gave PP 6-7 tablets to reduce the swelling & a very painful jab on PP's buttock for her allergy.. the jab is truly too painful to be administrated on the arm.. even PP's buttock hurt after she left the hospital..
abt an hour after the medication & jab, dr returned to check on PP.. the swelling went down so dr allowed PP to discharge.. PP can't take MC cos she got work the next day & it's too late to get a stand-in.. Thank God that her swelling went off the next day & she was able to go to work.. =)

1st night shift

PP was on her 1st night shift (from 15 Aug, 8pm to 16 Aug, 8am).. Wah!! Mum & HH's 1st reaction, "sure anot? you can tahan meh? scar-lee knock out leh?"

Kaoz.. they see PP no up leh.. anyway.. after morning worship, PP came home to rest.. she slept from 1pm to 5pm den went for her shift. she bought Reader Digest to entertain herself.. PP din sleep wor!! till 6 plus in the morning.. tak boleh tahan.. she knocked out awhile.. abt 30mins.. den after she knocked off @ 8am, she returned to office to see if she is required.. =)
reached home around 10plus am.. slept till 1pm..

why not sleep more? cos PP got hair appt.. hehe!! guess wat PP did??

PP's cousin used to be a chief chef at Orchard Hotel before he moved on to Resort World Sentosa.. =D He makes yumilicous durian cake.. yum yum!!

RS TAICHI's material is thinner so PP don't feel like a gorilla when she wears it.. OGK's material is thicker, protecting PP very well but hot leh.. hehe!! OGK set had protected PP during one of her accidents in Nov 2009.. Good ah!!

this new set came at the right time.. cos PP didn't dry her OGK set properly after her previous use & it stinks real bad.. =(

with the new set, PP gonna sun her OGK set.. btw, that OGK set, it has been 2 yrs.. no washing, only air & sun.. why?? if you wash your rainsuit, the water repellent substance will be spoilt.. then your rainsuit will be machiam normal clothing, can't protect you from the rain.. =)

you can lengthen the lifespan of your raincoat by spraying water repellent thingy on it.. this water repellent thingy can be found at D.I.Y. stores.. =)

PP started using this after her SiL gave her some to try.. PP's face really smoothen alot.. besides the few pimples tat pop out.. PP made the effort to wash her helmets' cushions.. hopefully the pimples will not come find her.. Bought this from ebay.. cheaper... =) Let's see how long this bottle will last PP.. actually this product is not fragant enough.. to PP, chou chou de (smelly).. but the effect on PP's face, she can't deny so PP will continue to use it.. =)

It was PP's colly, Z's birthday yesterday.. she was on leave so today we went out for lunch with her.. we went to Bumba Desa at Square 2..

HH wanna go Uniqlo for its sales.. we were halfway there when the skies grew real dark.. initial plan was to return to HH's place but we decided to ride on.. tat's when it rained cats & dogs so we pulled over at the sheltered area along TPE.. haiz.. waited for half an hour before the rain got lighter & we quickly rode over to Tampines.. PP to blame cos she wanted to take HH's bike.. HH's bike no box = no raincoat.. HH was drenched when we reached Tampines..

we haven't had any food since morning so we went for lun-din (lunch cum dinner) at Crystal Jade.. PP juz had dindin there also but at the Taka branch.. keke!! PP dun mind eating it again.. =)

It wa raining heavily when PP woke up ard 7am.. PP was supposed to go for bike revision.. but decided not to cos of the rain.. lugi $20plus.. nehmind la.. safer ma..

A few of us in PP's office signed up for archery.. the place is at 173 Hougang Ave 1.. Ulu place but PP managed to find.. hehe!! The few of us took pm leave but PP bummed in office till 2 plus cos it was raining when we wanted to leave.. the rest went for pizza & pool while PP ate instant noodles in office.. haiz... whahahahaha!!

After the rain stopped, PP rode over to meet the rest.. PP was late.. PP got to cut across a field.. guess wat.. alamak!! PP stepped into a "drenched" field!!!!! argh...!!!!! she was wearing sndals from Cotton On.. haiz... her feet were "drenched" with water & grass.. when PP finally cut across.. she realised, the whole group was wearing shoes.. she was the only one in sandals.. whahahaha!! obviously she din read the email sent to her la.. =P

Vince "ordered" chicken wings thru PP.. both Shushu & PP ate the chicken wings when they came.. so hungry while waiting for the rest.. Shushu waited almost an hr.. PP less abit cos she was running errand for her mum.. hehe!! the "fairest" of them all!!

after Vince & AL came, PP brought LC & Shushu around Chomp Chomp den we ordered these.. so obvious which one PP ordered right?? hehe!!

we also had satay.. oink oink & chicks.. hehe!!

after dindin, we adjourned to Dessert Bowl.. only PP had mango snow.. the rest had durian moouse.. after the one day durian trip, PP was scared of durians.. for the time being la.. hehe!! Shushu & Vince chatted abt iPhone.. while we girls chatted on Korean, Hong Kong, Taiwanese dramas.. LC & PP had much to talk abt cos we both have watched "You're Beautiful".. hehe!!

In the show, Hwang Tae Kyung (Jang Geun Suk) "combined" a pig & a rabbit for Go Mi-nam (the girl he likes). he found a pig & a rabbit in the heap of soft toys from his fans.. took the nose from the pig & "implanted" it on the rabbit. thus this rabbit-pig is created. why rabbit why pig? Hwang Tae Kyung was bitten by a rabbit when he was young. & when he grew up, he was at the countryside with Go Mi-nam where he was chased by a pig.. whahahaha!! when Go Mi-nam teased him abt the pig chase, he started calling Go Mi-nam "rabbit-pig".. machiam scolding her stupid la.. hehe!!

you see the hairclip on rabbit-pig's ear? it's a clip that Hwang Tae Kyung boguht for Go Mi-nam though he knows that she can't use it as she is impersonating as her brother.. but very sweet la.. the clip not expensive but he paid alot for it.. eg: it's juz $3 but he only got $100 bills so he gave the lady $100 & left without taking the change.. so the $3 clip cost $100 now..

it was only yesterday when Ling sms PP abt the invitation to Toke's birthday dinner.. venue is the cafe next to the Esplanade's library.. time: 8.30pm

it was decided that Ling, PP & Joel will meet at Esplanade at 7.30pm to jln jln before going for dinner.. suddenly at 6plus pm, Ling called PP saying that the dinner is actually 7.30pm not 8.30pm. Toke got the timing wrongly..

Oh!! Good thing PP's office is quite near town.. hehe!!

Twilight Saga: Eclipse

Yesterday PP went on a JB durian trip while HH went for a baby lobster trip..
today he no work.. wanting to accompany PP watch Eclipse.. so sweet!!!!

After church, PP went home to check timing for Eclipse.. we went over to HH's place to pick up his work uniform & den to AMK Hub to buy tickets & had brunch. brunch was settled at the foodcourt.. we had the long long queue hokkien prawn noodles.. yum yum!!

We left AMK for Gdns (as in Serangoon Gdns).. we went to met Jon (HH's long time friend cum buddy).. he juz bought a DUCATI monster.. PP & HH wanna see.. hehe!! HH took it for a ride while PP watched.. Jon suggested PP to ride around too but PP say nope, wait till she pass her 2A.. hehe!! DUCATI leh.. woo hoo~
PP more motivated to pass her 2A.. no lah.. not that PP gonna change to a bigger bike.. but at least there are friends with 2A bikes who dun mind PP riding it.. at least PP's hubby will let her ride his Super4.. hehe!!

we were drinking & chatting at Happy Daze till almost 6pm. We returned to AMK Hub for a quick dindin at Niwa Sushi.. PP's favourite when she was "schooling" at Tiong Bahru.. whahaha!!

Supposingly to meet at East Coast Park (ECP) around 9.30pm.. Ling got to work so we only reached ECP around 10plus.. BiL & Ling went without dinner..

Route: Start at East Coast Park.. den to Changi Village.. makan den Pasir Ris, Tampines, Bedok & back to ECP.. almost died-ed... =S

Why Orchard Road will never flood…

Well, almost never.

For a flood to hit anywhere in Singapore, it takes a combination of high tides and about 100mm of rainfall within an hour.

And Orchard Road is protected by its mighty rain drain - the Stamford Canal.

Thanks to it, shoppers haven't had to slosh through waist-deep waters since 1960s.

But what makes a good drain?

According to a Ministry of Environment (ENV) spokesman, it's the flow capacity of a drain and not its storage capacity.

In other words, it isn't the size of the boat that matters, but the motion of the ocean.

And Orchard Road's supersucker had plenty of that.

It can empty an Olympic-sized pool before your cup of latte has time to cool.

It's very handy around this time, with La Nina is expected to bring about more wet days in the next two months.

La Nina is the weather phenomenon responsible for the heavier rains and cooler temperatures around the region.

Already, it has increased rainfall by 25 to 30 percent this year, noted a Meteorological Service spokesman.

Singapore's worst ever flood happened in 1978 when 512 mm fell in 24 hours.

Seven people died in that flood.

To prevent such disasters from recurring, the Government has spent some $1.1 billion since 1984 on about 800 km of drains all over Singapore.

How can you do your bit to avoid doing your shopping in sampans?

Simple. Just don't chuck your rubbish in the drains. Let the rain drains do their work, and go with the flow.

As usual, after church, mum & Ling took bus to AMK Central with PP for her weekly fix of KOI.. whahaha!! this time, mum & Ling went to q for PP while PP went to get tix for the Karate Kid.. Ling caught it last night & she gave it many thumbs up (as if she got more than 2.. hehe!!) yupyup!! Ling din fell asleep in the cinema.. Wahooo~!!

BiL came to pick us up at AMK.. BiL & Ling wanna go see see at PC show.. but PP dread that "national event".. unless she got something to buy.. somehow, mum convinced PP not to go home.. ended up PP went along.. hehe!!

BiL parked somewhere near his office where his season parking is.. den we cabbed down to suntec.. a pic of Ling & PP in the carpark lift.. we seriously have heavy eyebags.. can someone take them out to throw??????? pleaseeeeeeeeeee!!

Today PP gonna use it with JW.. woo hoo~
PP went over to CCK in the rain.. See JW's face so "big".. PP went despite the rain.. whahahaha!! no la.. HH & PP were invited for home cooked dinner by mrs Cow..

Side dish is the sushi we gonna make.. hehe!! after spending some time (quite abit of time cos the instructions went 1 line english 1 line japanese.. PP need more time to grasp.. ok.. laugh ba... =P

here's the Japanese rice from American & the sweet vinegar from Nippon.. Available at supermkts (NTUC & GIANT).. previous PP bought from NTUC, this time we bought at GIANT.. so confirm this 2 places have.. go big branches hor.. small one confirm dun have..

1st... spread rice on the plastic roller.. dun worry, the ladle hor one (good one) won't stick.. but the rice does stick to your hand one hor..

2nd.. add "fillings".. in this case, a "strand" of cucumber & crab stick.. cannot be too thick ar.. the "equipment" on heavy duty one ar..

3rd, move the "watever" in.. you see pic understand la hor.. dunno, can call PP ask.. you got my number right?? turn the knob a few times.. let the sushi get into shape..

Lastly, add in a sheet of seaweed. *Note: you got to cut the usual big seaweed shet into quarters den it can fit into the "equipment".. den roll roll roll a few times..

Taa daa~! done!! sushi roll ready to cut into pieces.. remember to use s sharp knife to cut hor..
the "equipment" quite fun la.. but you let PP choose hor, PP still prefer the traditional way of making sushi.. using the wooden mat to roll up the sushi.. the traditional way is faster & the seaweed is kept crisp..
this "equipment" is fun for those making sushi for the 1st time.. or making sushi with kids.. this is fun!! tiring for JW.. she fell asleep almost immediately after dinner.. hehe!!

walked around Topshop, DP, etc.. DP dun have the black skinny that PP bought for mum.. =( PP din get anything..

After church services, PP, Ling & mum went AMK Central.. why?? let PP queue for KOI lor.. whahahaha!! so many ppl!! PP perspiring like mad.. Q-ed for 2 cups, 1 for mum & Ling, 1 for PP.. den Ling called say BiL also want.. PP q again but told the person the order is with PP's previous number.. KOI has become a weekly affair for PP.. PP will try not to drink too many times.. hehe!! the only comfort - she always order without pearls, making her feel not so guilty.. whahahaha!!

BiL came to pick us up & we went Novena Sq.. Yupyup.. as if PP hasn't got enough of it. no la.. PP stay in most of the time so weekend go novena, it's ok.. hehe!! Mum wanna got to Rose of Sharon to see if there is suitable dress for her for Ling's big day.. can't decide so think 1st.. den we went to the Puma outlet.. PP saw a gold jacket.. but but.. PP no need a jacket.. =(

can't find anything else so PP took a pic of wat she wore.. Dress from DP (bought last week), slippers from Mark & Spencer.. Ling & PP were wearing heels but changed to slippers which Ling brought along..

Saturday Day Out

HH came over after he knocked off last night.. PP stayed up to wait for him while the rest of her family went to kun (sleep)..

We tried to wak up this morning.. or PP dragged her ass off the bed this morning cos HH & PP gonna go to Bukit Purmei for yummy lor mee.. so difficult!!!! argh!!

we managed to wash up & get our ass out of the house.. hehe!! is was sky black black when we left.. Yes, though sky black black, HH & PP ventured out also.. of cos with 2 sets of raincoats.. hehe!! true enough, along the way, nearing the CTE tunnel, it started to rain.. PP asked HH to brave the rain till in the tunnel den stop to wear our raincoats..

after donning on our raincoats, we continued our journey.. very very far.. hehe!! then we reached... when PP told HH the stall is not open, HH laughed at her cos PP was looking at the wrong side of the road!! HH already saw the queue.. hehe!! PP dunno the exact addy of the place.. pai seh to take the stall front also.. so from where she is sitting, she took the carpark sign.. hehe!!

We went to get movie tickets.. yeah!! since we still got time, HH still not sober after the kopi-C at the coffeeshop, he went Starbucks to get a latte.. yum yum! the other picture below the cup of latte is PP's favourite - "foam" aka bubbles aka paopao.. hehe!! PP loves to drink "foam".. not shower foam la.. any edible "foam".. cappuccino, latte, fruit juice, Milo, fizzy drinks... got "foam" one PP drink.. hehe!! HH always so nice.. he'll let PP drink "foam" 1st before drinking the actual drink.. mucks HH!!

After the movie, when we were walking around MS... we saw AL's favourite.. Before PP said AL, HH asked PP while pointing to that blue round thingy, "AL's favourite right?" Wah!! HH remembers wat PP's colleagues like!! so nice of him!! hehe!! or mayb PP mention her colleagues too many times?? hehe!!

before McFlurry, we were walking around & HH finally bought a pair of Onitsuka Tiger shoes.. or sneakers? dunno la.. but it's his 3rd choice.. his 1st choice (PP's choice) was the last pair, then he chose another pair also last pair.. sian-ed!! finally settled for his 3rd choice.. PP liked one of the design.. HH wanted to get for her.. we both can "tiger" together but PP decided against it as you know la.. PP dun like covered shoes.. she prefer open toe one.. so HH saved some $$.. hehe!!PP carrying HH's shoes while having McFlurry.. hehe!! isn't she cute?? whahahaha!! vomit big time!!

we walked & bought a couple of things.. you'll get to see it soon.. we had Yoshinoya for dinner.. we haven't had their beef bowl for a while.. =)

After that, we went over to HH's place.. wanna see princess C.. she was "hot" still from fever.. wanna give her wat we bought for her also.. hehe!!

the 1st & 3rd dolls were from Melb.. mum bought them for princess C.. hehe!! one is baby doll, the other is girl-girl doll.. the one in the middle is Strawberry Shortcake doll HH bought awhile back from Mini Toons.. hehe!!

After work.. PP met Laogong & Miss Ng at Lot One for out catching up session.. =) So happy to see them!! Laogong changed job 5yrs ago, so she's not in the same office as PP already.. =( nehmind, we still can meet outside.. =) Miss Ng still with PP but diff floors.. hehe!!

Too hungry so PP din take any pictures.. she forgot la.. whahaha!!

we had dinner at Pastamania den moved to MOF for dessert.. hehe!! so nice to meet up with them.. =) We'll meet more often k?? time always not enough when we meet up.. =(

PP dug out her long dress to wear today.. hehe!! wore once last year for a wedding dinner with HH & didn't wear it ever since. it's cheap.. $12.90 during GSS at THIS FASHION.. whahaha!!

PP wore it the 2nd time today.. with the "bomber" jacket mum got her from Melb.. =)

After church, PP suggested to go AMK central to buy Koi bubble tea.. hehe!!

we went 313 somerset also.. went cotton on, mijtsu, uniqlo, rose of sharon, pedro, aldo, charles & keith.............. before leaving town around 8plus pm.. half dead by then.... went to tabao dinner den go home....................
